OAPTF Members Responding to EPA Data Call-In
In support of its product registration, OAPTF members have committed to develop certain data to fulfill the requirements outlined in the December 24, 2013, Data Call-In (DCI) from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Task Force members will be conducting studies on aquatic and avian toxicity, as well as certain residue studies on cotton gin byproducts. EPA will consider the data developed under this testing program as part of the MSMA reregistration process. The registration review of MSMA, a routine process required of all FIFRA registered products, is not expected to be completed until 2019. The OAPTF members' agreement to generate these data is a further reflection of OAPTF members' commitment to maintain MSMA FIFRA registrations and vigorously support the product.
